Production Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing environment located within a 30-minute commute of Woodbridge, Ontario.

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily production activities within a designated area of the plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output to meet customer demand. This role plays a key part in driving team performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift

· Monday to Thursday

· 4:30 pm – 2:30 am (evening shift)

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and supervise production activities to achieve daily and weekly performance targets

· Provide hands-on leadership to develop, engage, and support hourly team members

· Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

· Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements

· Identify and implement process improvements to improve yield, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency

· Support Lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce bottlenecks, improve quality, and lower operating costs

· Align production output with customer demand and quality specifications

Requirements

· Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· Strong focus on results, accountability, and continuous improvement

· Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop frontline employees

· Experience with Lean Manufacturing or similar improvement methodologies (asset)

· Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (asset)

· SAP experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)

Compensation

· Approximately $80,000 annually
